Refraction is defined as the act of determining the focal condition (emmetropia or ametropias) of the eye and its corrections by optical devices, usually spectacles or contact lenses. It is one of the most important activities of the clinical work of optometrists and an indispensable variable to be considered in studies on vision. This unit consists of trial sets, trial frame, Snellen visual acuity charts, Log MAR charts, Retinoscope, Pelli – Robson chart etc.

CONTACT LENS CLINIC

Contact lenses are alternate option for spectacles. Aimed to correct various types of refractive errors, corneal irregularities and for cosmetic purpose. Soft, Rigid, Toric options are available. Thorough fitting of these lenses are necessary for good correction of refractive errors.
