COGNITIO 2026 – Transformative Power of AI in Medical Research and Education

The Malabar Medical College Institute of Allied and Health Sciences (MMCIAHS), Ulliyeri, Kozhikode, organized a Faculty Development Program and Hands-on Workshop titled “COGNITIO 2026 – Transformative Power of AI in Medical Research and Education” on 09 May 2026 at the Academic Block, Malabar Medical College Campus.

The program was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. Jyothi thomas and Vice Principal Prof. Jazeel N M. The workshop aimed to improve the knowledge of faculty members regarding the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in medical education and research.

The session was handled by Dr. Krishna Raj, who shared valuable insights on the role of AI in healthcare education, academic research, literature review, data analysis, and scientific writing. The speaker also demonstrated the practical use of AI tools in teaching-learning methods and research activities.

The workshop included interactive sessions and hands-on training, which helped the participants understand the practical applications of AI in their academic and professional activities. Faculty members actively participated in the sessions and clarified their doubts regarding the use of AI tools.

The program was informative and beneficial for all participants. The workshop successfully created awareness regarding the growing importance of Artificial Intelligence in medical research and education and encouraged faculty members to adopt modern technologies in academics and research.
