An expert talk session was organised by the sree anjaneya college of paramedical sciences on 1 st December 2025 at the Multipurpose Hall. The session was aimed to give awareness about HIV/AIDS and its impact on individuals and communities was raised among students and faculty.
The resource person for the session was Ms. Anjali M P , Assistant professor ,sree anjaneya college of paramedical sciences.
Topics covered
Origin of AIDS /HIV, morphology of AIDS, mode of transmission ,pathogenesis and clinical features and lab diagnosis and NACO strategy for HIV diagnosis ,Post exposure prophylaxis of HIV.
Outcome
The session was highly informative and interactive .students actively participated and gained their depth understanding about AIDS/HIV.The session emphasis on the need for continued efforts to combat stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV/AIDS .
Conclusion
The experts talk was a great learning experience for the participants.
