The Mizhivu’26 Arts Fest, organised by the Astra SUC – 2026, was held on 11th September 2026 at Malabar Medical College Institute of Allied and Health Sciences (MMCIAHS).
The programme commenced with a prayer by the college choir, followed by the inauguration of the ceremony by the esteemed Chairman, Mr. Anil Kumar Vallil. Principal, Dr. Jyothi Thomas, Vice Principal Dr. Jazeel, N M (PT), and the Heads of various departments addressed the gathering and extended their felicitations, conveying their best wishes to the students and the newly elected union members.
Following the inaugural ceremony, the badge-pinning ceremony for the newly elected office bearers of the Astra SUC’26 was conducted. The office bearers were formally presented with their badges, marking the beginning of their responsibilities as representatives of the student community. This was followed by the oath-taking ceremony, during which the Vice Principal administered the oath to the newly elected union members, reaffirming their commitment to their duties and responsibilities.
The formal proceedings were followed by a vibrant array of cultural performances and various competitions presented by the students. The event provided an excellent platform for students to showcase their artistic talents, creativity, and enthusiasm while fostering teamwork, unity, and a spirit of healthy competition.
