The World Physiotherapy Day 2026 programme was conducted by the Department of Physiotherapy, Malabar Medical College Institute of Allied & Health Sciences (MMCIAHS) on 8th September 2026 at the Multipurpose Hall, MMCIAHS.
The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Jyothi Thomas, Principal, MMCIAHS. The Physiotherapy Pledge was administered by Mr.Jazeel N. M., highlighting the professional values and responsibilities of physiotherapists. Expert talks by Dr. Prashob P. S. and Mrs. Aroma P. provided students with valuable insights into physiotherapy, physical activity, and cardiovascular rehabilitation.
The celebration included a quiz competition, educational booths, fitness challenges, working model, and physiotherapy equipment displays. These activities provided students with opportunities to enhance their knowledge, demonstrate practical skills, and actively engage with the theme of the day.
The programme was successfully conducted with enthusiastic participation from students and faculty members, making the celebration an informative, interactive, and meaningful observance of World Physiotherapy Day 2026.
